Hyderabad Young Ficci Ladies Organisation (YFLO), organised a virtual session with Celebrity Nutritionist Genie Pooja Makhija to understand the eating habits and diet plan. Deepthi Reddy, chairperson, YFLO introduced the speaker and mentioned, 'need of food habit and healthy diet in life.'
Pooja Makhija said: "One should follow the diet based on the lifestyle. To remove a disease from root one should have control on diet. We can change our feeling with our eating habit. Eat what suits to your body in proper portion it is indeed the key in good diet. Indian diet is one of the best in the world with nutrition and taste."
She added, "Exercise is not only going to gym, it means any physical activity walking with your friend or moving with your dog. It is aimed not only for weight loss, but to help in getting good skin, mental fitness, rejuvenate your body." She advises people to regularly exercise.
She also explained about the importance of water in our life as she said: "Water is life. Drinking adequate water - that is at least two to three litres a day is extremely important to detox your body. It flushes out bacteria and aids in digestion too. A correct 7 to hour sleep per day is must and should for correct functioning of physique. It helps reboot our physique and prepare for the upcoming day."
